Capt. Rajesh Todiwan
(Master Mariner)

A Physics graduate from the KC College Mumbai, Capt. Todiwan was into sports   and was the captain of the college Cricket and Hockey teams. His love for the sea and all adventures that it offered made him join the NIPM in Chennai to undergo  his maritime studies and pre sea training. Following which VShips recruited him  as a deck cadet. He rose to the rank of Master Mariner. He has worked on all types  of tankers such as parcel chemicals, crude and product tankers etc. In his career  spanning over 24 years Capt.Todiwan has worked with many prestigious  companies to enhance and enrich his knowledge of the trade.He also understands  the importance of good coaching that helps people to deliver the best. He believesin hands-on training and delivering great performance on the shop floor than being brilliant in theory. In his own professional experience he has followed that principle and has lived his vision. He has travelled the world and seen many aspects of Hospitality and Tourism industry. The industry fascinates him, hence he wanted to create a learning centre that would give the basics of quality service education and inculcate the art of great hospitality in the trainees. He also had a vision that with the right training and guidance even the average individuals can become star performers. Spectrum Academy is his dream project.

Vibhor Rastogi

Vibhor is a graduate from Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai, which has consistently been ranked as the best college for Hotel Management in India. He was a part of the prestigious Taj Management Trainee Program where he learned the nuances of a modern commercial kitchen. He is an educationist by profession but a Chef at heart. He forayed into consulting quite early in his career which exposed him to various aspects of set-up and operations of hospitality related establishments at various geographical locations across the country. He has been a Training Consultant to Centaur Hotels, which is a subsidiary of Air India and Operational Consultant to “Comesum” chain of fast food outlets, which have their presence at major railway stations in India; many hotels such as Hotel Signature (this project was handled from inception to post launch), Meerut, Hotel Allahabad Regency, Allahabad and Hotel Siam International, New Delhi; Clubs such as AAUI, New Delhi; Educational Institutes like Hotel Craft Institute, Mumbai and New Delhi. Driven by his passion for teaching and training, he has moved from Hospitality Operations to Education.

Laxmi Todiwan

Laxmi Todiwan is a Professor, Corporate Trainer and Coach. She is the founder of IWH – Indian Women in Hospitality. She completed her Bachelors in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from IHM Mumbai. She is a Post Graduate in Training and Development from ISTD, New Delhi also earned her Masters in Tourism Management. She is a Certified Hospitality Educator from the American Hotel and Lodging Association and has acquired Cleaning Operators Proficiency Certificate from BICS, UK. She also has earned certifications in Strategic Leadership and Innovation & Change Management from Cornell University, USA.

She started her career with the Taj group of hotels, The Taj Mahal Hotel, Mumbai and has had a successful career spanning over 2 decades. Learning and Development is close to her heart and she associates herself with Skill training projects of the government. She is a Master Trainer and has worked with American Hotel and Lodging Association and  Tourism & Hospitality Skill Council, Tourism Boards of State governments, Corporate organisations, Banks, NGOs and  CII to name a few. She has spoken at various platforms and forums such as entrepreneurship workshops for MBA colleges, International hospitality summits, the defence services and career counseling for schools and colleges.  She has hosted many functions of repute as a Master of Ceremonies and has done a series of educational programs for a television channel. She writes for hospitality journals, international websites and also for columns in the local newspapers. She is a celebrated blogger and expresses her thoughts on her website, www.theiwh.com. She was awarded the India’s top HR and Training professionals at the India Hospitality Conclave, 2019. She is an honorary advisor at Spectrum Academy.

Raj Bahadur

He is a seasoned hotelier with over three decades of experience ranging from being a chef to the Prime Minister of India to being an Executive Director of SAJ Flight Services, which is one of the largest airline catering companies in India. During his career he has worked as head of kitchens at prestigious places like the Hyderabad House in New Delhi which caters to most of the banquets hosted by the Government of India, Training Manager of one of the largest chains of Hotels undertaken by the Government of India and General Manager of Five Star Deluxe Hotels. He has to his laurels the spearheading a mega project which involved the construction and operations of a Flight Kitchen in New Delhi along with overseeing the operations of various Hotels, Resorts and Flight Kitchens under the flagship of the SAJ brand.

Shakuntala Jha

Shakuntala Jha is a result oriented Hospitality professional with over 30 years of diversified experience in Luxury Living, Image Consulting and all aspects of the Hospitality industry. She’s a History graduate from Delhi University and a Bachelor of Education from Bombay University. She acquired management training with the Taj Group of Hotels, Mumbai and worked in several managerial positions across the group’s properties in Mumbai, Goa, Varanasi, and New Delhi. She’s been a key player in several hotel project management teams for the Centaur Hotel, Delhi, The Resort, Mumbai, The Leela, Mumbai and Goa. A trend-savvy trainer and a  creative planner working on the forefront of hospitality, she expanded her scope by becoming a successful and pioneering entrepreneur in providing housekeeping and hospitality services to some of India’s largest corporates and multi-nationals. After selling off her business, she took on a consulting role with The Reliance Group working for several years across their guesthouses, offices, aircrafts, schools and specifically with the Ambani family residences, Sea Wind and Antilia. She is a specialist in creating a luxurious home ambience and procedures and she’s an expert in luxury gifting and storage of hi-end art and artefacts. She has often been interviewed and showcased for her abilities and achievements in leading periodicals and dailies like Femina, TOI, and Mid-Day. She also used to write a column with the Times Of India on good housekeeping practices. Over the years of her vast experience, she has broken the mould and experimented successfully with new age solutions and dynamic self-set standards. She continuously strives to achieve excellence with the core focus of creating an emotional connect with the end user.

Madhura Pawar

Madhura is a young enthusiastic wine professional. She completed her MSc in Wine Management from Burgundy School of Business ESC Dijon, France. She is a Wine and Spirits Education Trust London Level 3 certificate holder and is pursuing WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines and Spirits from London. Her work experience within the wine industry consists of working as a Marketing Manager at SoHo Wine Club, led by Sonal Holland MW (Master of Wine), Project Manager and Writer at Fine Publishing Pvt. Ltd., and an intern at Sula Wines. She has also steered an organic farming project for HERD Pvt. Ltd. for 3 years as Project Manager and developed a 40 acres’ organic farm from conception to operations.

With all the varied experience, passion for food and wine, an entrepreneurial zeal and a childhood dream of having a restaurant, she is a cofounder at FETE Hospitality LLP and opened a healthy food café – EDEN Goodness Café at Oshiwara, Andheri West, Mumbai which is being appreciated well.
